Ways to Take Action
Project ideas/suggestions on how to get involved in the issue of Universal Health Care.
Hand-out flyers at Screenings of Michael Moore's Sicko
With the release of Michael Moore's Sicko, the press and the American Public will be examining healthcare with a new sense of urgency. This is a great opportunity for us to ride the Sicko wave and let the public know how we feel about healthcare reform and why we support a single payer system. The task is easy. Call a few friends, watch the movie in your white coats, and as soon as the movie ends, be the first people to leave the theater. Stand outside and hand the viewers this flyer as they leave. Check out the primers on this page before you go so you feel more comfortable answering questions. Feel free to call or email the National Office if you have any questions about this.
